As the area woman MP for Kazo District, I have always believed in the potential of our community and the boundless opportunities that lie ahead. Inspired by the words of our esteemed President, Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who recently reminded us, “We are the ones to cause social economic transformation of our people,” I felt a profound call to action.

“Vision sets a direction; a leader without a vision is like a ship without a compass.” These words resonate deeply with me as I reflect on my journey and commitment to Kazo. As a leader, it is my duty not only to envision a brighter future but to actively lead the way, ensuring that our community thrives and prospers. A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. I am confident that I am fulfilling this role and will continue to do so for the people of Kazo.

Coffee, often referred to as the “black gold,” has the potential to transform lives and invigorate economies. The fertile soil and favourable climate of Kazo District provide an ideal environment for coffee cultivation. Recognizing this, I embarked on a mission to encourage and support coffee growing in our district. Through this program, I am proud to share that a good number of people have benefited from the coffee seedlings I distributed to them. The results are promising, with positive signs of growth and prosperity visible in the thriving coffee plants that now dot our landscape.

The journey to socio-economic transformation is not without its challenges, but it is a path worth taking. By investing in coffee cultivation, we are not only diversifying our agricultural output but also creating sustainable livelihoods for our people. The income generated from coffee farming will enable families to improve their living standards, invest in education, and build a better future for the next generation.

I am inspired by the resilience and dedication of the Kazo Coffee Growers who have embraced this initiative with open hearts and hard work. Their success stories are a testament to the power of community collaboration and the impact of visionary leadership. Together, we are proving that with the right support and a clear vision, we can achieve remarkable things.

As I continue to walk this path with you, I am committed to providing the necessary resources, training, and support to ensure the success of our coffee cultivation program. Let us move forward with determination and unity, knowing that we are paving the way for a brighter and more prosperous future for Kazo District.

Thank you for your everyday trust and support.
Together, we will transform Kazo.
One coffee plant at a time.
Remember, #NabaMbineNimbasa
